HIS 689 - History of the Presidency, 1901-Present 3 Credits
Examines the American presidency in the twentieth century. Focuses on the administrations and presidential elections of this period, as well as how the presidency evolved into its modern form in response to factors such as the economy, war, and social unrest. Emphasis will be on the administrations of both Roosevelts, Wilson, Truman, Eisenhower, Johnson, Nixon, and Reagan.
