THL 632 - The Reformation


3 Credits

This course will study the complex religious, social, and political factors that led to the Protestant Reformation and its subsequent developments that created new expressions of Christianity. It will also consider the Roman Catholic response to the Protestant Reformers and the development of Tridentine Catholicism.Cross-listed with HIS 573.
