SOC 324 - Sociology of Men and Women in Society 3 Credits
Analyzes the social, cultural, political, and economic roles of women and men cross-culturally and historically in societies such as the United States, Europe, the former Soviet Union, China, Latin America, the Middle East, and certain small subsistence-level societies. Structural and cultural causes, and consequences of different forms of gender stratification are emphasized. Prerequisite: SOC 101
