ACC 350 - Accounting Information Systems

1 semester, 3 Credits

Develops an awareness of the role of the accounting information system (AIS) in achieving organizational objectives. Explores, in detail, several typical AIS application subsystems, such as revenue/receivables, purchases/payables, inventory, cash receipts/disbursements, and financial planning/reporting. The concepts of risk and control are introduced in the context of the AIS. Prerequisite: ACC 204.
