The investigation of special problems in biology. The widest freedom of choice of a problem, compatible with the personnel and physical facilities of the department, will be allowed the student. With the permission of the faculty supervisor, 396 may be elected by highly qualified biology majors on a pass/fail basis only. Prerequisite: Permission of instructor.
