PSY 488 - Advanced Cognitive Development 1 semester, 3 Credits
Seminar examines how the ability to mentally represent emerges in infancy and develops over the course of childhood and into adolescence. The mental processes needed to represent complex situations, behaviors which require representation, as well as the methods used to study representation will be covered. Empirical research will be the primary source of course material. Prerequisites: PSY 201-202, and PSY 312 or PSY 316. Junior/senior status or permission of the instructor.
