MSC 277 - Applied Lessons in Conducting

1 semester, 1 1/2 Credits

For Sophomore, Junior, or Senior music majors and music minors. Introductory level of private instruction offering a more concentrated, thorough, and technical approach to conducting. Students will continue to work on basic concepts introduced in MSC 305 through the study and preparation of easy to moderate literature. Concepts include but are not limited to basic conducting techniques, score analysis, and repertoire selection. Prerequisite: MSC 305 or permission of instructor.
