Bachelor of Science 

The bachelor of science degree program in biochemistry is a rigorous course of study that combines the chemistry courses required for the bachelor of arts degree with selected courses in biology and biochemistry. The biochemistry degree program is excellent preparation for students interested in medical and dental school as well as students interested in graduate school in biochemistry or molecular biology. This program is certified by the American Chemical Society.

#In order the meet American Chemical Society certification requirements, either the Chemistry elective or the Biology elective must have a laboratory component.
