ENG 312 - Shakespeare: Tragedies and Romances

This course concentrates on Shakespeare’s later plays, primarily tragedies and romances (or tragic-comedies), with close analysis of the texts in the light of relevant political, social, and cultural contexts, and with some attention to stage history and film productions. Prerequisite: Basic writing course or permission of instructor.
