PSY 486 - Theories of Psychotherapy

This seminar explores the major approaches to psychological treatment of abnormal behavior, including how therapies operate, their theoretical foundations, evaluation of their effectiveness, and ethical issues. Material is presented through lecture, discussion, and audiovisual presentations. Prerequisite: PSY 324 or permission of the instructor. Junior/senior status.
