NSC 217 - Environmental Science

3 Credits

The intent of this course is to raise students’ awareness and understanding of their environment, discover how they affect their environment and how they are, in turn, affected by their environment. Students will learn: (1) the rapid deterioration of our environment; (2) the effect this will have on us and our children; (3) why we as individuals should care; and (4) what we can do as non-scientists to help solve these problems.
