EDU 767 - Children’s & Adolescent Literature 3 Credits
With an emphasis on culturally diverse literature, this course features authentic literature as a way to foster deep thinking, to enhance awareness of diversity, and to spark interest in reading. Exploring children’s and adolescent literature by authors who represent diverse cultural perspectives, candidates will experience the social construction of knowledge through engagement in a readers’ workshop.
