EDU 835 - Seminar in Meeting the Demands of the At-Risk Learner 3 Credits
The challenge of making schools work for all children is formidable. This course addresses the special challenges faced by teachers who seek effective approaches to teaching students typically described as being “at-risk” and/or reading disabled. While characteristics of groups can alert teachers to issues that might be encountered with individual students, this course focuses on individual differences within the group.
