BIO 410 - Electron Microscopy 1 semester, 4 Credits
Students are required to become proficient in the basic preparation techniques of biological materials for transmission and scanning electron microscopy, in the theory and operation of the scanning electron microscope (SEM) and the transmission electron microscope (TEM), and in the documentation of data derived from these instruments. Prerequisites: BIO 103-104 and permission of the instructor.
