EDU 562 - Assessment, Measurement, and Data in Counseling

Instruments and mechanisms schools use to assess students and the types of measurements reported are studied. Emphasis is given to the collection, analysis, understanding, and reporting of data. By using data, the new mission of counselors as leaders, collaborators, and advocates is explored as a crucial element in addressing the social and institutional barriers that prevent access and equity for some.
