EDU 647 - American Sign Language

This is an introductory-level course in American Sign Language (ASL) intended to give an overview of both the language and culture of the deaf community. This class is taught in ASL except for lectures on the deaf community and its culture. Vocabulary and grammar are presented through a functional approach focusing on how the language is used in everyday interactions.
