EDU 822 - Introduction to Differentiated Instruction


3 Credits

This course gives an introduction to differentiated instruction and is designed to explore issues and strategies involved in school-based, data-driven decision making. Emphasis will be placed on the principles of school-based management and differentiated instruction to improve outcomes for all children and, in particular, children with exceptionalities. The competencies that participants will leave with will include an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of teachers and administrators in making data-driven decisions and in collaboratively addressing diverse learning needs.
