EDU 840 - Best Practice in the Intermediate Grades


3 Credits

This course explores practices that support intermediate grade readers and writers of all socioeconomic and cultural communities. It offers students an opportunity to explore reading comprehension strategies, to study the development of struggling readers and writers, to assess an intermediate grade reader, and to develop a comprehensive instructional plan. A hands-on experience in an intermediate grade classroom is required.
