CHM 221 - Organic Chemistry I

A study of the compounds of carbon utilizing a problem-oriented approach both in lecture and laboratory that emphasizes the use of spectroscopic methods. Lectures 3 hours, laboratory 4 hours. For chemistry and biochemistry majors. Not open to students with credit in CHM 201-202. Prerequisites: CHM 102 or CHM 122.
