CSC 387 - Computer Architecture 1 semester, 4 credits-
Fundamental principles of digital electronic computer architecture and organization are examined in detail. Machine language programming, the design of instruction sets, and software/hardware tradeoffs are emphasized. Datapath and controller design, hazard detection and resolution, and memory hierarchy are also examined Prerequisite: CSC 104.
