EDU 815 - Exceptional Child

3 credits-

Focuses on the skills, knowledge, and attitudes which classroom teachers, parents, and support systems should possess when working with exceptional children in a mainstream classroom. Students are provided with strategies to modify curriculum, instruction, and assessment to meet the diverse needs of students who require specific accommodations, including students with special needs and emergent bilingual students.
