EDU 852 - Primary Literacy Clinic

Offers candidates an opportunity to work with primary grade students. In a 75-hour clinical experience, candidates apply structured literacy practices to the development of foundational skills in reading and writing. Candidates use assessment data to design daily lessons and to teach a group lessons using evidence-based literacy practices. Emphasis is on phonological awareness, phonics, and vocabulary development.
