EDU 390 - Assessment

1 semester, 4 credits- Core Foundation/Proficiency: Writing II

Designed to build data literacy and provide information about reliable and valid assessment practices for children. Use of screening, progress monitoring and diagnostic assessments to make data-based decisions in MTSS, including special education process, is addressed.  Observations, standardized norm-referenced tests, curriculum-based assessment, and educational report writing are emphasized. Field experience in elementary school is required.

Taken concurrently with EDU 418.
