EDU 418 - Specialized Instruction

1 semester, 4 credits-

Promotes development of knowledge and skills for the education of all elementary students, especially those with disabilities. Specialized evidence-based instruction in reading, writing and math that is responsive to students’ strength and needs,  high leverage practices, inclusion, IEPs, accommodations and modifications are emphasized. Field experience in elementary school is required. 

Taken concurrently with EDU 390. Prerequisites: EDU 231, EDU 270
