HIS 301 - The History of the Vietnam War


1 semester, 3 Credits Core Foundation/Proficiency: Diversity

A review of the American involvement in East Asia from World War II through Korea and Vietnam, up to the fall of Saigon in 1975. The course will not only examine the chronology of events and their impact on American society, but also review the recent scholarship and interpretations of this complex and generally ill-understood period of American history.

Same as AST 301
Satisfies post-1877 American history requirement for minor.
