MGT 401 - Organizational Theory

1 semester, 3 credits-

Beginning with an understanding of organizational purpose, students explore how contemporary organizations can create both economic and societal value. Through the application of systems thinking, stakeholder analysis, and forecasting tools they will understand the interconnectedness of organizational and societal outcomes. The course culminates in a project where teams design solutions that generate shared value and address large-scale global challenges.

Prerequisite: MGT 101.
