MSC 201 - Theory I

The study of the theory of music: triads, major, minor keys, scales, clefs, modes, intervals, fundamentals of harmony, basic concepts of form, melody, and rhythm. MSC 201AS is required with this course. Prerequisite: Permission of instructor. Previous background required (note reading and study of instrument or voice).
