PSC 302 - Research Methods in Political Science with Lab

1 semester, 4 credits- Core Foundation/Proficiency: Quantitative Reasoning

An in-depth survey of the logic and use of quantitative and qualitative methods in empirical political inquiry and analysis. Covers philosophical foundations, conceptual approaches, and practical techniques for analyzing a wide variety of political phenomena. Prepares students to undertake substantial independent research on a topic of their choice. Open to PSC majors only. Prerequisite: PSC 101.
