NUR 304 - Pediatric Nursing

1 Semester, 5 credits-

Didactic and clinical course covers nursing care of children from birth through adolescence. Students build upon knowledge of pharmacology, pathophysiology, and growth and development to provide culturally congruent, family-centered care. Students competently demonstrate knowledge, skills, and attitudes in performing patient/family-centered health assessment.

Prerequisites: NUR 301 and NUR 302.
Corequisite: NUR 303/303C.
Open to Nursing majors only.
