NUR 307 - Public Health Nursing & Health Promotion in the Community

1 Semester, 5 Credits- Core Foundation/Proficiency: Civic Engagement

Lecture/clinical course focused on population health promotion, prevention, and public health nursing practice. Students integrate evidence-based strategies, civic engagement, and systems thinking to address social determinants and health inequities across diverse communities. Fieldwork and clinical hours required.

Prerequisites: NUR 202 & HSC 280. Restricted to Nursing Majors.
