EPS 122 - Geology

1 Semester, 3 credits- Core Foundation/Proficiency: Physics-Based Natural Science

For all students who are curious about the planet they live on, this course is an exploration of Earth’s 4.5-billion-year history. Learn about the processes that shape Earth’s surface including volcanism, plate tectonics, the evolution of life, and climate change. Learn to identify common rocks/minerals and “think like a geologist” through participating in and hands-on activities.
