BIO 378 - Biological Imaging with Lab

1 Semester, 4 credits-

Microscopes and photographic imaging are powerful techniques for scientific discovery. We will learn how to use microscopes and gain an understanding of how microscopes and imaging equipment work. Students will develop a portfolio of images and video clips of specimens including plants, microorganisms, and marine life. Combines art and science through state-of-the-art technology.

Prerequisites BIO 103 & BIO 104.
