HIS 269 - Into The Irish West 1 Semester, 3 Credits- Core Foundation/Proficiency: Oral Communication
Topically-organized course will survey the history of Ireland from the early medieval to the twenty-first century through the lens of the Irish West as both a physical entity and a symbol. Evidence from history, mythology, folklore, music and film will explore the nature of the West and the political, social, and economic developments that explain this depiction.
