NUR 401 - Transition to Professional Nursing

1 Semester, 3 Credits- Core Foundation/Proficiency: Oral Communication

Develops leadership and communication skills essential for professional nursing. Emphasizing interprofessional collaboration, informatics, and effective oral communication, students engage in both formal and informal presentations. Learners practice speaking with clarity and purpose in clinical and academic settings while building competencies to lead, influence, and collaborate within diverse healthcare teams.

Nursing majors only. Senior status or permission from department chair required.
