The Programs
The Department of Engineering-Physics-Systems offers undergraduate programs designed to prepare individuals for careers in applied science and engineering. Applied physics and multidisciplinary courses of study emphasizing systems science leading to the bachelor of science degree are available. The department has a combined-plan engineering program, which has affiliations with Columbia University and Washington University in St. Louis. For students who are interested in teaching physics at the high school level, a physics/secondary education track which leads to a bachelor of arts is also available.
