Bachelor of Science 

The bachelor of science degree program in biochemistry is a rigorous course of study that combines the chemistry courses required for the bachelor of arts degree with selected courses in biology and biochemistry. The biochemistry degree program is excellent preparation for students interested in medical and dental school as well as students interested in graduate school in biochemistry or molecular biology. This program is certified by the American Chemical Society.

Required Courses


Academic programs vary in their requirements. Students should consult with their faculty advisor and the Academic Guidebook to review the Academic Planning Form pertinent to their program of study. In addition, students should review course descriptions regarding any prerequisites for required courses. Graduation requirements include a minimum of 120 credit hours, although some academic programs may require additional credits.
