The Program
The 4+1/M.B.A. Program is designed to allow an undergraduate student to continue study for an additional year upon completion of the undergraduate degree and receive the Master of Business Administration degree. The program is available to all undergraduate students, and those who are interested in the program should apply for admission during their junior undergraduate year. Admission is granted to those students who meet established M.B.A. graduate admissions criteria.
Criterion needed to apply to the program includes:
- an online application
- application fee
- official transcript(s) from all institutions attended
- submission of official GMAT score
- two letters of recommendation
- resume
- and personal statement
Upon receipt of the application materials, the M.B.A. graduate admissions committee will review the student’s application. Upon acceptance, relevant prerequisites must be completed before enrolling in graduate business courses (unless specified by the program). The master of business administration degree requires the completion of 12 graduate courses. Nine of the courses are core courses and the remaining three courses are elective courses.
4+1/M.B.A. students are required to complete an internship as part of the program.
