Accountancy is the study of the means used to communicate financial and economic information to decision-makers. The School of Continuing Education offers an Accounting certificate which includes a variety of learning experiences such as case analyses, computer labs and assignments, team projects, and oral presentations.

Certificate in Accounting: 12 credit hours
The Certificate in Accounting introduces students to the various tools used by the accounting professional. It provides a foundation in basic accounting practices and financial reporting issues. This certificate may be taken alone or applied towards a bachelor’s degree program at Providence College.
