The Theology program in SCE will offer central core courses in Scripture (Old and New Testaments) and dogmatic and moral theology. The program will lay the foundation of knowledge in Church teaching and may lead to advanced graduate study or professional opportunities.

Requirements for the bachelor of arts degree
I. Core Curriculum Requirements: 42 credit hours

Perspectives on Western Civilization 9 Credits Philosophy: one ethics and one other course 6 Credits Theology: one 200-level and one 300-level course 6 Credits* Science 3 Credits Social Science 3 Credits Quantitative Reasoning 3 Credits Fine Arts 3 Credits Intensive Writing 6 Credits Oral Communication 3 credits Proficiencies: Diversity, Civic/Global Engagement, Information Literacy, Collaboration and Teamwork *can be fulfilled through major courses II. Theology Concentration: 24 credit hours
Electives (select two): 6 credit hours
III. Free Electives: 48 credit hours
*A minimum of twenty-four hours must be upper division (300 or 400-level) credits. |
