The Bachelor of Arts in Healthcare Administration prepares students for professional success by integrating a strong foundation in the liberal arts with knowledge and skills in healthcare administration. This is primarily a degree completion program that will build upon students’ prior academic and work-related experiences in order to advance into administrative roles in a variety of healthcare settings.

Requirements for the bachelor of arts degree
I. Core Requirements: 42 credit hours
See Core Curriculum for specifics. Perspectives on Western Civilization 9 Credits Philosophy: PHL 309, Biomedical Ethics, and one other PHL course 6 Credits Theology: one 200-level and one 300-level course 6 Credits Science 3 Credits Social Science 3 Credits Quantitative Reasoning: CSC 120, Applied Data Analytics Fine Arts 3 Credits Intensive Writing 6 Credits Oral Communication 3 credits Proficiencies: Diversity, Civic/Global Engagement, Information Literacy, Collaboration and Teamwork II. Healthcare Administration Requirements: 33 credit hours
III. Free Electives: 45 credit hours
*A minimum of twenty-four hours must be upper division (300 or 400-level) credits. |
