CCRI Articulation Agreement
Providence College and the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) have several articulation agreements that outline the process for CCRI students who meet appropriate academic requirements to transfer into the School of Continuing Education at Providence College. Providence College guarantees CCRI students who meet the stated conditions of the articulation agreement admission to the School of Continuing Education.
PC and CCRI also have a Guaranteed Admission & Tuition Agreement (GATA) which allows CCRI students to be conditionally accepted to SCE while still enrolled at CCRI and to be eligible for a significant tuition reduction at PC. BCC Articulation Agreement
Providence College and Bristol Community College (BCC) have several articulation agreements that outline the process for BCC students who meet appropriate academic requirements to transfer into the School of Continuing Education at Providence College. Providence College guarantees BCC students who meet the stated conditions of the articulation agreement admission to the School of Continuing Education. QCC Articulation Agreement
Providence College and Quinsigamond Community College (QCC) have an articulation agreement that outlines the process for QCC students who meet appropriate academic requirements to transfer into the School of Continuing Education at Providence College. Providence College guarantees QCC students who meet the conditions stated of the articulation agreement admission to the School of Continuing Education. Teacher Certification/RI Credential Review Consortium Pathway
The RI Credential Review Consortium Pathway allows individuals who have successfully taught in grades 7-12 for a minimum of two years an alternative route to certification in RI. Providence College will assist qualified individuals to determine a possible route to gain secondary certification. Candidates must provide evidence of professional development, coursework, and successful evaluations that meet the Rhode Island Professional Teaching Standards.
Study Abroad Programs
SCE offers short-term study abroad courses in the summer term, which are available to SCE, undergraduate full-time, and visiting students. The College offers a comprehensive study abroad program throughout the academic year with opportunities available to eligible SCE degree students.
