Please refer to the Women’s and Gender Studies Department website, https://womens-studies.providence.edu/, and click on the “courses” tab, for the most up to date information on all WGS courses, including which WGS elective courses are designated Humanities (HUM), which WGS elective courses are designated Social Science/Natural Science (SSC/NSC), and which WGS elective courses are designated as both Humanities (HUM) and Social Science/Natural Science (SSC/NSC).

Because Women’s and Gender Studies elective courses are interdisciplinary, they are often cross-listed with other departments or programs. The Chair of the Women’s and Gender Studies Department will be responsible for verifying student compliance with the requirements of the minor.
