Fire Science
This program recognizes the expanded sophistication of fire protection systems and safety dangers including terrorism. To meet the expectations of students in the fire science field, this degree offers fundamental skills for activity on the fire ground, as well as comprehensive information in the areas of management, law, and government. Requirements for the bachelor of science degree
I. Core Requirements: 60 credit hours

Fine arts 3 Credits History 6 Credits English 12 Credits Mathematics (MTH 105 or above) 3 Credits Philosophy 12 Credits Science: one course each in hydraulics and chemistry 6 Credits Social science: ECN 101 or ECN 102 and PSC 101 or PSC 201 6 Credits Theology 12 Credits II. Fire Science and Business Requirements: 36 credit hours
III. Free Electives: 18 credit hours
