ECN 345 - Economics of Sports


1 semester, 3 credits-

Studies, from a domestic and international perspective, the economics of sports markets using microeconomics and statistics. Topics include: the economic importance and unique economic and legal aspects of sports, public funding of amateur and professional sports, player salaries, owner-player relations, the benefits/costs of college sports and the NCAA. Prerequisites: ECN 101 and MTH 217, or MTH 423.
