These skills are required in almost all industries, causing skilled data scientists to be increasingly valuable.

Many companies have made data science a priority and are investing in it heavily. The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects 31.4% employment growth for data scientists between 2020 and 2030.
The data science minor consists of 19-20 credits.
