Organizational Communication


The focus of this degree is on preparing individuals to work in a variety of organizational communication capacities including public relations, marketing, advertising, publications, and journalism. The organizational context includes business and professional organizations, as well as public, nonprofit, and political entities.

Course work for this program centers on writing, graphics, media, and human and interpersonal communication. Both a theoretical and an applied focus underscore each course. Courses include: Introduction to Human Communication, Writing for Communications, Public Speaking, Mass Media and Society, and Communications Research.
