EDU 763 - Research in Literacy

3 credits-

Research related to the 2019 Rhode Island Right to Read legislation is the focus of this course. Candidates will understand the concepts, tools, and practices that exemplify sound educational research and its role in reading instruction. In addition to exploring research around structured literacy practices, candidates will understand basic research practices and principles related to purpose, design, and data analysis.
